Centers of Consciousness in Human Design

Human Design

The white centers on the map of our Design encapsulate the secret of programming. We long for possession of what we do not have, reaching for the opposite, until we truly believe it is ours.

Empty and Filled Centers

First, nine centers are always noticed on the Bodygraph. Some are shaded, while others are white (with the exception of the Reflector, which has all centers open, or the even rarer Generator, which has all centers filled).

Certainty is what is colored. It is the birth energy by which you are recognized. It is

Empty Centers

It’s where your influence on the world comes from.

Places of vulnerability on the bodygraph are what’s white, open to being fed from outside, to

conditioning. This is where you reflect the impact of the world on you. We receive energy precisely where we are open, and we increase that energy. It is not yours, yet it is readily identified with yours, especially clearly in families who have lived side by side for many years. This creates a False Self, a distorted sense of self.

During childhood we are dependent on those who care for us. On a cellular level, each child receives a powerful conditioning in their open centers. Very often this influence stays with us for years to come. For example, a child who is open emotionally and reflects the emotions of those around him or her is perceived to be agitated and nervous.

Filled Centers

True Self vs. False Self

This conditioning mechanism can be clearly understood through the Design of Man. By relying on Inner Authority, we can make our choices by relying on who we are, rather than pushing back.

By adhering to your Strategy, you gradually begin to live out the wisdom of your openness.

Shaded is, under all conditions, the hook on which the program hooks us. It is always a fixation on some theme, which is present in the gates, centers, channels.

A great deal of sensitivity and flexibility is given by openness in the bodygraph. But not everyone is able to live it out correctly without trying to hide behind the False Self. Often it is the unattainable potential of wisdom that remains, as the mind jealously guards your life and claims a position of authority.

Description of the Centers.

Mandala and Bodygraph in Faces

  • Root Center – The adrenaline pressure associated with survival. Having a certain Root, people have the ability to work under tight deadlines. They are stress tolerant. If you allow this opportunity to take part in your life, great, but you should not be allowed to make decisions for you. In a stressful situation, the Open Root can start to panic. People of this type should not have to decide and choose anything under pressure. They should understand what pressures are not right for them and what pressures are right for them.
  • Sacral Center. – The energy that has the ability to be available from the response. It is Sexuality, performance, vitality. If decisions are made mentally rather than by responding to life, frustration is inevitable. This Center is an accessory of the Generator, and if the power is lived correctly, this living brings satisfaction, able to increase for those who have an open Sacral. This openness can lead to fatigue and exhaustion in anything if you know no limit: food, work, sex. With an open center, it’s very easy to feel like a supergenerator. The open sacral has this rule: rest should go before fatigue sets in. The definite sacral has the following rule: to get a good rest, one must exhaust oneself for the day.
  • Emotional center – Sensitivity, volatility of moods, passion. A certain emotionality dominates everything and becomes the Inner Authority. The world is half full of the emotional and half full of the emotionally open. One lets the emotional wave through, the other amplifies and reflects it. The result is a very emotional planet.
  • Spleen Center. – Wellness, intuition, laughter, immune system, fun, survival in the moment. Filled for the open Spleen seems extremely attractive, as one gets the feeling that it is impossible to be lost with this person. There may be a not-so-healthy addiction that has fear at its core. Spontaneous decisions for the Open Spleen are not correct.
  • Ego Center – Courage, willpower, the heart of the material world, competitiveness. A parallel can be drawn between this center and the business district of the city. Getting more by doing less is an ego theme. The open ego has a golden rule: don’t prove your superiority, don’t promise anything. You are great as you are.
  • G Center. Direction, love, self-identity. Even without knowing purpose, a certain G feels its direction in life. The house bears within it, as if it were a snail or a turtle. Emits rays of love. It is characteristic of the open G to feel lost during seclusion. Extremely squeamish about location, and meets the right people in the right place.
  • Throat center. – Manifestation, action, self-expression. It is as if the square to which all the roads of the city lead. A certain throat has a fixed way of presenting itself, certain channels and gates. An open throat is more flexible in expressing oneself if one does not draw attention to oneself by starting a conversation first. Expressing different voices is a gift of the open throat.
  • Center of the Head. – Inspiration and mental pressure. One is able to perceive oneself as a source of inspiration to others as well as to oneself, if this center is identified. A kind of therapists who can give off an inspirational response when approached. The Open Head likes to identify with all issues.
  • Center of the Mind. – Information analysis, thinking, conceptualization. A particular mind has its own way of processing information – abstract, logical, through insight. This person may be an Outside authority to others, but this does not always mean his or her ability to solve his or her own problems. This mind needs an invitation or recognition, and then it can share its qualities. An open mind can learn a lot if it is not shy about its forgetfulness and openness.

Special qualities of the centers:

  1. Awareness Centers:
  • Mental awareness – Ajna center;
  • Animal, primary awareness of the body – the Spleen center;
  • Spiritual Awareness – center of the Solar Plexus, according to Ra, in 2027 as a result of a mutation, the Emotions center will cease to act as a motor.
  1. Motors:
  • Sacral Center;
  • Solar Plexus Center;
  • Root Center;
  • Ego center.
  1. Pressure Centers:
  • Root Center;
  • Temennaya Center.
  1. Throat center – the center of self-expression and manifestation;
  2. G center – the center of direction and identity;

Each center has its own biological correspondence, which is perfectly illustrated in this diagram:

Centers of consciousness

If the residing energy is inappropriate, it can affect the system or certain organs.

Any center can have an inappropriate or appropriate manifestation. For example, open centers: Ego + Root + Emotional + Sacral + Spleen can lead to this distorted theme: fear of being rejected and as a result, under pressure to make some promise.

When, living our Design, the identification with the old self passes, we continue to live according to the true selfthat makes the decisions. Together with others, we learn.
