From Fear to Love

From Fear to Love Articles

How often when I work with people I observe their relationships, and as it turns out, an underlying mistrust is always the main and probably the only obstacle to intimacy.

Reasons for fears

From fear to loveWe all strive deep down to become open to people and the world at large, but the old traumas we’ve experienced remain with us. Having once experienced pain, we close ourselves off, wanting to protect ourselves from similar situations. Our defenses seem to be the surest way to keep ourselves safe from pain, but it closes us off from ourselves, from our center of self-perception.

We feel lonely and blame others for this, blindly believing that all our misfortunes are due to them. Unfortunately, this becomes a habit. It is as if we fall into a vicious circle, into our own trap, believing that no one can be trusted.

Sometimes, hungry for love, we take a step toward to a relationship and intimacy, hoping that the pain will never happen again. But life offers no guarantees. And there often comes a point when we dive back into the layer of protection, struggling with life and applying our usual strategies. Life in the layer of protection is safe, it protects us from pain. But by being in this layer, we deprive ourselves of life’s creative energy and the joy of being.

Transition from Fear to Love

In order to return to our source, sooner or later we have to face and re-experience our wounds. Everyone has been psychologically or physically abused at one time or felt neglected, rejected, or conversely over-controlled…

We have grown up with these wounds, and now we constantly feel them activated at the first opportune moment. This is why we have built a layer of protection, which, like a fortress, protects us from childhood traumas.

By re-experiencing our wounds and becoming aware of our strategies, we can return to an open heart and step out of our own closed world toward life and ourselves. Each of us is capable of learn to see and feel love of the world.

When we recognize what difficult situations are for, when we understand that such experiences help us wake up, we are able to endure pain. Disappointments, setbacks, and losses teach us true trust, trust that is beyond all the twists and turns of life. The realization that everything that happens has deep meaning encourages us to take an inner journey…

I invite everyone to an amazing journey to the center of your existence. Together we will step by step to open and recognize themselves holistic and free. I look forward to seeing you at the training seminar “The Sacrament of Life”.
