Getting old is not fun or accepting your age and aging

Getting old is not fun or accepting your age and aging Articles

I recently read an interesting commentary by an actress on the subject of growing old and and accepting this inevitable and natural process. I have been following this topic for a long time and it is not necessary to go far into the woods to recognize that most of mankind is actively afraid of this subject and by hook or by crook, tries to go against age.

Have you ever wondered why this topic has become so intolerable and taboo? And even if we all stop talking about it or simply allow the fact that old age exists, it will still manifest itself in every aspect of our lives in a sure-fire way.

By avoiding this facet of our development, we lose the priceless gifts that come into our lives with this stage. There are so many keys and codes to a deep, conscious and fulfilling life in old age.

Last month I was actively riding the St. Petersburg subway and perusingConscious aging advertising offers. You don’t have to be a great mathematician to calculate the percentage ranking of the beauty industry among all posters, brochures and other information distribution channels.

The market is literally boiling with offers for cosmetics, plastic surgery, body shaping, cosmetology, and other procedures and products that seem to help us cope with the signs of age.

I have the impression that growing old is a serious sin! Through beautiful images and pictures, slogans and promises, the beauty industry controls the mass consciousness of people globally, putting the fear of the natural aging process into the subconscious and, depriving us of the beauty of this stage.

I’m not against beauty and healthy living, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that real beauty is a state of our consciousness, an acceptance of natural processes and love for ourselves, not a fanatical desire to run away from yourself, in which you will lose in any case. А youth is, above all, a state of mind, not an outer shell.

Of course, it is possible and important to look good: to maintain health, tone, vigor and lightness. And for that you need to start moving now, eat less, move more, wash your brain more often from the garbage and husk, and, of course, laugh heartily and love yourself and the world.

As you can see, the main focus should not be on combating the outward signs of old age, but on supporting your state of mind and soul. And that, believe me, is also work. To be healthy and happy is the highest art, which if you want to learn it, everyone can learn. And this art begins with the acceptance of your unique beauty and age.

Getting old is not fun or accepting your age and agingBe in harmony with yourself and the world.
