As the practice of my personal survey shows, and you yourself know this fact well – a person always strives for the state of comfort and peace.
And by comfort we mean not external attributes, but an internal state, that feeling which gives the state of comfort and joy.
We glide through life and everything is saturated with sweetness when, for whatever reason, we come in contact with this desired state. We begin to smile at passersby and propagandize 360 degrees how beautiful life is. But nature, including our internal processes, is changeable and not static, so sooner or later under the pressure of external or internal factors there is a shift in consciousness, in perception, in mood, etc.
Maybe my hormones have changed their biological composition, maybe my life situation has thrown me off-balance, or maybe I was intoxicated due to my tumultuous emotional experiences and it’s time to digest it all. You never know! And there is nothing wrong or unnatural about this transition. It is only our interpretation of what is happening that is wrong.
There are labels of “good” and “bad” that we are accustomed to placing on everything that happens around us and within us. And where there was good there is automatically a powerful hooked on the condition and, as a consequence, addicted and waiting for the emotional entourage to continue. We get hooked on one emotion or another and unknowingly cut off the oxygen of life. It is very easy for us to become addicted to the nitty-gritty and highs of different areas of life and very difficult to accept the existence of the conventionally dark side.
The night of the soul
But who says night is terrible? Yes, there is a firm attitude, which is handed down like a baton, that with the coming of “night” (I’ll put it metaphorically) come unwanted and rejected emotions and feelings. But in fact, we create these feelings ourselves, clinging to that which is simply time to go for our own development. The night, in turn. – is one of the most mystical and spiritual states, a time of rest and resetting.
And if you’re experiencing feelings of sadness, longing, frustration or depression, then perhaps this is that precious time, a time to get to know your depths.
That time is necessary, and the pain associated with transition is a consequence of emotional dependence and unreasonable expectations..
I know many people who try to manipulate their inner states, pushing various levers for the sake of continuing the effect of pseudo-happiness. But this synthetic effect leads to nothing good. Eventually one burns out and inevitably confronts himself. And in such cases, it may take much longer to overload and the process may be more painful.
So it’s important to appreciate nature and the natural pole shifts within us. It is important not to run away from your shadow and waste your inner strength and resources on a known failure beforehand. It is much more important to learn to draw wisdom and see the potential for growth where night comes in. The night is gentle and caring, the night is the keeper of our hearth, the night is studded with stars of opportunity and revelation. The night is a time of change.
…all in good time…
a time to laugh and a time to grieve…
a time to find and to lose…
a time to speak and and silence….
Good night)
With love, Maria Shakti
