Have you ever wondered what your uniqueness is and what makes you special? Already recognizing your uniqueness will make you exceptional and special because you realize that you are one and only one of a kind, you are absolutely exceptional and that is your value.
Have you ever wondered how many people live on planet Earth? According to statistics, there are about 7 billion people on Earth, can you imagine that? And in the midst of that vast number it’s impossible to find any person like you in appearance, in character, or in the way you think.
Recognizing one’s uniqueness is one of the basic actions that lead to knowing oneself, discovering one’s potential, discovering one’s purpose, and cultivating self-love.
There are some misconceptions about this, and I want to explore them with you.
Four misconceptions about uniqueness:
1. Very often when it comes to uniqueness and destiny, many people get lost, because they immediately try to imagine something GLOBAL! If I am to have a destiny, it must be the global salvation of the planet and all of humanity. If I am an artist, then let my art echo throughout the planet, and so on.
- The heroic image of a global or even universal scale overrides our uniqueness and creates an impression of insignificance of ourselves compared to alien concepts, mostly adopted from movies. Meanwhile, the main secret of uniqueness is to learn to see small shades, facets and nuances in ourselves, and then in others.
- Everything we touch becomes as unique as it interacts with us. Whether it’s cooking, the creative act, raising children, nurturing flowers, reading books… We put our emotions, our moods, our thoughts, our vibrations, our experiences, our uniqueness into every act and action. So don’t devalue the little things by lashing out at the big things, learn to discern the details and focus on the little things as well. It is in them that lurks what makes you stand out and makes you unique and special.
2. The second misconception is that a person’s uniqueness is permanent and does not change in the course of life.
- Every day you are changing, developing, transforming, growing. And that means that your abilities and talents are changing. Nothing stands still. Under the influence of external and internal factors, we are constantly in the process of change. Our desires, values, skills, abilities, preferences, moods are changing and, with them, our uniqueness is also changing, and is constantly in flux like everything in this universe. Therefore, every new day your uniqueness becomes unique again!
3. There can only be one uniqueness
It is a big misconception that our uniqueness is expressed in only one thing. In every activity, in every social role played out, you can manifest your uniqueness. Let me say more: It is REAL to understand your uniqueness as a womanmother, daughterwife, friend, leader, muse…
When you discover your uniqueness in this or that area, your importance and value, your life is transformed and becomes much more valuable first and foremost to yourself. Then your life will begin to be filled with deep meaning and you will very soon receive the necessary confirmations from the outside.
4. Someone else can tell you what your uniqueness is and help you see it
There is a special temptation in our genes to put our life map in the hands of astrologers, clairvoyants and fortune tellers. We all want to know and follow our destiny, and almost every session begins with this question.
Nevertheless, it is not possible to get a clear instruction on how to fulfill our predestination during such sessions. We may be led to understand ourselves and our uniqueness, but the real answer lies within ourselves, and only we can recognize it.
So how do we find our uniqueness?
You don’t have to look for her, because she never hid from you. You are already broadcasting it to all 360 degrees by your presence. However, in order to tune into it better and allow it to manifest in its entirety, you need to get in touch with yourself, listen to your deepest needs, observe yourself, notice your personal preferences and what inspires you.The more attentive and reverent you are about yourself, the more food for thought you will receive.
Record ALL responses and everything that happens to you in your journal. Most people do NOT see their uniqueness simply because they think it is natural and habitual for them. And therefore, do NOT appreciate it. The goal of this exercise is to get to know yourself better, see yourself with fresh eyes and start broadcasting your unique value to the outside world!
